Title: What are my minty mint chrome peregrine super pros worth?
Post by: Discostu on July 30, 2011, 09:24 PM: Ive got another set of chrome peregrine super pros laced up with stainless spokes on nos super pro hubs with rechromed re-decal'ed rims. Seeming the ridiculas prices that things are selling for at the moment I'm wondering if I should keep hold of them? Let me know what u think peeps. :daumenhoch:

You should do n'all - if you flog 'em you'll end up wanting to do a period correct build at some point and have to shell out to buy em in from the States - hardly ever see em for sale over here (in good nick) :daumenhoch:

I'd say at least double that price for the rims if they are mint chrome. they seem to be impossible to find now .. i have a set with 100% perfect rechromed rims and nos hubs that i have thought about letting go .. if i ever did i'd want a shit load more than that for em and i'd get it on ebay or over on the museum too

Picked up a mint rim a few months ago for £50 :) Saying that I've got a shart load of knackered one's waiting for a resto - the lovely Steve's got three of mine at the mo applying his magic to them :)

Didn't Diggler then Sid flog a wheelset with minty Pro Hubs for £110 not long ago (not rims though)? Them's were :4_17_5:

Post by: Discostu on July 31, 2011, 10:24 PM: well as luck would have it a set of mint super pro hubs is up on ebay at a 99p start. i'm gonna keep an eye on how much they go for. shame it isnt a complete wheel set. in my mind the best 48 hubs ever made. far better than the peregrine tech hubs. :smitten: :)

I was in a shop a few weeks back and there was a set of wheels with Peregrine hubs NOS, Just built never used. Had Sunn rims I think.
How much would the hubs be worth?
