Title: freestyle/park cruisers
Post by: medved on July 30, 2011, 10:17 PM
does anybody have any opinions on these cruisers with altered geometry to make them more like a 20" bike?

i have seen one by wethepeople and another by sunday,  and  whilst i would like to go get a bike to ride at the local skate park i wonder whether anybody owns or has ridden one?

i normally race a cruiser (very badly) at regional level and have no street/park experience to speak of

Not exactly but have done some ramps and skatepark on my Felt race cruiser. People also ride 26" wheel jump bikes on skateparks. I assume a freestyle 24" would be at least as good as my cruiser, with tighter geometry etc ???

i've got a wtp avenue, it is bloody great, seems really light, rides like a big bmx - i used to have a haro backtrail cruiser and all you could do was point it in a straight line and roll.. the wtp is great!!

If you still want to ride in a skatepark but need something bigger, then get to MK and try my 22" wheeled Faction Zeitgeist. It's got a 21" TT and short back end but 22" wheels with a 25/9 gearing and NS bits and bobs I don't understand or care about, but it rides ace. :coolsmiley:
