have decided to get a midschool to ride and no nothing about them so any advise is welcomed
i really fancy an s&m so what should i be looking for?
have these got 10 or 14mm dropouts as going to start collecting a few bits?
what brakes should i go for etc
if anybody has an s&m seat and padset to get rid of please give me a shout
thanks very much

ha ha another one got the S&M bug, they really get under your skin dont they!! Just got mine at the weekend and im soooooooooooooooooo happy
and padsets are on Triton bike shop, gish just hooked me up with the link

The 1" headtube frames have 10mm dropouts and some of the early 1 1/8" frames
Holmes serial numbers start HXL
Dirtbike SMD
Challenger SCP
The new repro padsets have a different font/text on them if you're fussy
What brakes would depend on wether the frame has lugs or not, DC ad990 for lugged frames, pitbull for frames without lugs

Hello Brother
I can absolutely recommend Mid-school S&M's for riding.
They are built for adults, are super stable and will last forever because of the build quality.
When I first started collecting I went straight for a Holmes 1 1/8th 10mm drop outs.
I was riding a 24" at the time and found it very easy to switch to the 20" Holmes because of it's length.
Here are some pics of when I covered it in Yellow Tape and made my own Decals.
