All worthy winners! :daumenhoch:
I think a special mention should go to Grant for entering the only Burner in the competition!
I could not stop grinning when I took it for a little spin; that geometry is hard wired into my childhood memory and the nostalgia just flooded back! :smitten:
-
There was also a mk1 chromo burner and an aero pro burner there too. Don't know who they belonged to though ?
-

Ooops, apologies, so there was. :-[
But that gaudy yellow chrome Super Tuff captured the true spirit of the Burner and all it did for bringing BMX to the UK masses in the early '80s. :daumenhoch:

3rd year at MK, 3rd year of entering bikes and 1st year to win something, well pleased with that :) my black Ripper also got a medal which floored me completely, wasn't expecting that at all :daumenhoch:
CW Mini was my favourite followed by the GHP Criuser :smitten:
The trophys were awesome this year too, had to take a picture of all the kids down from the shelf to make room for my Tuff Wheel Trophy. >:D

I felt a bit guilty when you asked me where the dice valve cap was. :-[ ;) I got those dice from ebay, about 4 quid for 50 and it's a little M3 screw for the valve, now get busy and get making :daumenhoch:

Judging was a mission.
Next year we need more entries for the street section and the mid school section as they were both lacking.
There were loads of contenders about that were not even entered which was a real shame, we kept stopping to look at bikes that didn't have a tag.
And a shout to Philbert, Sorry for completely missing your bike mate. :-[

I have to say, without sounding like Kate Winslet, as an MK virgin (not that Winslet is a virgin, I know her ex-husband) I was overwhelmed with the response & reaction to my Knight Proformer. I built it because I wanted to, because I needed to and I even said to Brettypeeps that I'd brought it down just to show people why I loved it; no expectations at all. It appears the judges loved it too. To be on THAT winners list is an absolute honour considering the competition, I'm still in shock. Every single bike was a credit to its owner, well done to all.
Looking forward to next year.....................................................
Keeping it real, keeping it RAD!

Absolutely loved your Knight Performer Nick, I can imagine that everyone who saw it (including me) are currently thinking how we can get our hands on one.
Great bike and nicely put together, a worthy winner. :4_17_5:
