Do you think I can't hear you!! :tickedoff: :2gunsfiring_v1:
No It's just I thought there would be a real effort to recreate the golden days of BMX at bournemouth and yet I didn't see one full gate of OS bikes. I'm just hoping some of those great pieces of history we keep in our sheds make it to the gate at MK :)

:crazy2:how about a mid school bike 1" headset ,but got a v brake
russ :4_17_5:
-
according alans big book of old skool racing rules No.
needs a side pull or poss a pitbull 1 - ie single point mounting
exception given to some Haro RS'ssssssessessses
-
It would be unfair to have new and old school in the same races, so that won`t be happening.
TBH we would like to see as many old school bikes on the track as possible, but we don`t want to stop people racing just because they don`t have an old school bike to ride. :coolsmiley:
-
if any one wants to race my sling shot when its finished you are more than welcome
i would like to see it ridden even if it is a bucking bronco it was built to race so it should.
ive given it a good build up ,sittin in my garage aint what its all about.
-
I toallt agree Bill, but then we do need to promote getting them OS bikes on the gate :daumenhoch:
-
id like a bounce on the slingshot harris.
-
you got it mate it will be there waiting for yu :daumenhoch:revived from the brink of the bake bean making machine.
cant wait to see it rip.
-
I confess that having had a pootle around a few tracks in recent years I am totally crap (wasn't much better years ago) and pedestrian about every jump so I'm up for a race full of shiny old chrome. I'd be no better on a new school bike so what's the worry? I'll bring along whatever bikes I can, if they get scratched to bits then never mind. They're only bikes, after all...

heh heh "rip" might be a strong word...i was thinking more of a bimble. im knackered after a hundred yards...
-
boingy frame and z rims i think you will do well to even bimble bounce maybe.i think i may bring a set of alloy rims
to prevent damage occuring to you not the bike :LolLolLolLol:
-
booooiiiiiiing!
-
Harris, I'll ride the Slingshot for you mate, the last time I rode one was in 84 when I was asked to test one for Shiners who were thinking of distributing them. They weren't too springy IIRC, bloody heavy though, that top tube was like a ferking steel girder.
-
yes mate thats why i aint ridding it :LolLolLolLol:it is at the paint shop now cant wait to get it back.dan
-
Be great to see it when you have it ready, I must say I love Slingshots, superb looking bikes.
