right, i've got these old LG's which have rusted quite badly and i want to get them powdered. what do you recomend to attack the rust on these before i send them off to SBD?

The powdercoater will sandblast them first, well my local one does.

For rust on a painted part your best to get it blasted and get it done right, you'll spend as much on rust removal products.
If you are going to do it yourself you need to strip the paint because there'll be rust under it that the remover won't get to if you leave it.

i wanted to get a frame and forks re-powdered that had a few bits like your forks
can you report on findings please,if SBD will sort it then great as i was going to send my f+f to him

send it to sbd let him sort it thats what i do ;D, sorry sbd , my trm sbd did was rough and sbd did his magic he's got the gear to strip it off and he's also essex mafia 8)
