Never seen or heard of them, they must be a tasty bit of kit for that price ???
-
yeh amazing that , thats big money for a normal frameset but i guess it'll sell to an ozzy , buying a bit of their heritage sort of thing
-
the helium was pumped in to make the frameset stiffer (not lighter,as we thought as kids) i think redline may have done this at one point too :-\

Looks like a thruster at the back

Made in Queensland, that frame is number 12 off the production line and has been re-chromed and re-decalled and is in amazing condition. A very rare and over here highly desirable frame being sold by a great guy who sadly has to sell it to cover some huge dental bills.
Quicksilver made a wide range of frames and forks, some were copies of Mongoose others were a mix like the Helium with the Goose style front end and the Thruster style rear end. Later on they had rear ends pre-fabbed by Tange and sent over to be welded up to locally made front ends.
They are considered the holy grail for a lot of Australian collectors, this will sell big. If anyone is interested, he will ship overseas ;).
