From: http://www.raleighburner.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=240795#240795 :2funny: :2funny: :2funny: :2funny:
"Araya" I purchased this for the chain guard only.
Therefore, reluctantly the rest is up for sale.
Having split the last 6 of these that I had (each netting between £1000 - £1200 each) - I thought I would do the BMX BMX BMX - keeping it BMX with general borderline gay group hugs in a BMX rubber dub styleeeeee....and try and sell the rest of it complete 8)
Its not all about the money you see 8)
£600 posted gets you this wonderful example (minus the chain guard).
Obviously bars are not original, nor is the seat but apart from that - its all there (apart from the reflectors and Custom M pedals)....all easy cosmetic changes
dib dobs on here then pm please - lets keep it BMX BMX BMX in a hetrosexual masculine caveman style fashion :smt023

Err, should this not be in the For Sale section if you're selling?
-
Not that i'm aware of, its a discussion point on the price of Burners isn't it?
I enquired for a price guide on a rare as chuff AMtrac the other day and was advised it would clear £420ish covered in mint top end parts. :wtf:

Sorry bud, re-read that and realise you were quoting someones post. I thought it was a bit strange someone trying to sell Burners on here when there are dedicated sites :idiot2:
And yes, stupidly, massively overpriced. Don't think my TA would fetch a grand and its ten times better..... ;D
Cue Burner police..... :police:
-
Those Burner boys are crazy, but it is a crazy that I like. Not that I like Burners, just respect how mad and dedicated those guys are with their bikes.
Power to them I say.
-
Parasite of bmx and a disappointment to real bmx - take off a chain gaurd and shove on a shed load of money for profit ::) biagio mini me :uglystupid2:
-
So? ..........the bits that are missing to make the bike as it was bitd? how much more on top of the asking price would it cost? any idea? looks to me that bars, grips, tyres, pedals, seat and the missing chain guard which alone I've seen fetch £50+
-
AP bars - around £60
Tange Grips - £25
Tyres - £60
pedals £40
seat - £60 - £120
chain guard £50
so add another £250+
and then if you want to re-powder it + decal set add £40
so it's looking a big price for either just a rider or bigger price to resto it back ::)

These house clearance bikes....... I feel sorry to the old folks that have to pay the nice men to take their junk away....... :uglystupid2:

Oh for fooks sake, another Dave & Lee hate Jason thread.
Put another record on please guys, I'v bought and sold stuff with all three of you and have no issues with you all except for this crap between you.
Meet up in a car-park and have a mellon-off to resolve it once and for all and move on!
-
Dude, wheres the aggro come from? No one mentioned violence, I'm just talking BMX prices and thats that. Its PRICE DISCUSSION. :daumenhoch:
As said, its crazy how a fully loaded prime tuned bike gets valued at 420 and a fooked burner covered in shite wrong bits has a asking price of £600. End of. :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley: :coolsmiley:
-
Lee, look up "melloning" bud, it was in an earlier thread by London-Hellboy :LolLolLolLol:
I'm just aware you and Jase and Dave are always at each other - Rewind is a hoot when you all get started
How did that ProClass rim turn out btw - you never got back to me after I dropped it off at Jon's for you :yahoo_silent:
-
I agree, my dad got a tap frame, forks, stem, tange headset, cranks, chainwheel and the chianguard, and the pedals, for... 100 quid. Oh well he will soon realise what he actually has then he will have to put it lower, I say nobody buys them and then when he eventually puts them really cheap we buy them. >:D
-

Sorry dude, I was saving it until he had finished but I still haven't seen it yet. He a busy bee. :D
I think he has nearly done it all tho, so should be on with it soon. :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

NO. You are only allowed to talk about Biaggio and his MINTY bits in that manner.......... :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

Sounds like he thinks anyone into the 'hobby' is a bit of a mug or, to use his words, borderline gay. Treating your potential customers with contempt doesn't seem the best way to drum up sales IMO. :-\

An interest in BMX or simply looking to continually fill their wallet at the expence of other collectors? you decide...
-
Leave him alone will you............this is about my Amtrac price versus Burner prices.............. :knuppel2:
Anyways, he didn't pay £350.
You must be stupid if you think I paid £350 for it
What's up......are you upset because I ignore your dib dobs and refuse to sell to you or your inner circle brown nosing comrades any more  ....... ah...didums, some one get baby a soother(http://i1026.photobucket.com/albums/y324/BurnerMadMan/baby.gif)

Checking the Museum dude, I think you may be right :LolLolLolLol: Perhaps he likes the Raleigh Badge better :daumenhoch:
Big difference in the '78 and '79 R10 though :coolsmiley:

Your right jaymz, like raleigh uk though the odd anomolie pops up.
Don't know the story on this when he got it tbh.
I have seen two single gusseted rampar r10's with the heron, gererally though the rampar came with the r logo.
