Post by: Carlos717 on August 21, 2011, 12:37 AM
Hi peeps! New to the forum. I have just been given a frame, so thought about starting a build. It says ammaco rattlesnack on the frame but never heard of um. It's a nice frame with smoked chrome. Can any one help?

Never heard of the Rattlesnack lol  ;D  :-\

...seems to be one on the bay at the mo:  http://www.ebay.com/itm/BMX-4130-CR-MO-TANGE-FREESTYLE-FRAME-FORK-GIRO-NOS-/260834184086?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item3cbaedcb96  In the details given it says its a Tange built frame. Cool colour that smokes gold chrome  :coolsmiley:

Whoops I meant rattlesnake!  :-[
That is a pretty cool colour. Being new to this bmx scene, is it a decent frame or just a pile of scrap?

is yours like this one http://fietsen-brommers.marktplaats.nl/fietsen-crossfietsen-en-bmx/475749288-bmx-fiets.html ?   any pics?  :D

if it was one like in the bay auction it can't be that bad being Tange made  :daumenhoch:, but it seems there were different models, by different makers perhaps

In the description on the one on t'bay, it says that it's a late 80's - early 90's. Doubt that, as 14mm rear drops and what look like V-brake lugs ain't right for that period. Would say that frame's more likely to be late 90's early 2000's. Nice colour though :)
