Title: Lunchtime budget Haro project
Post by: Robbo on August 26, 2011, 04:40 PM
A few months ago I got a call from Sean 2000 with the offer of a cheap Haro Sport, anyway it wasnt for me as I was busy with my Master build so I mentioned it to one of the guys at work who is definitley old enough to know better (66) and he jumps at the chance to have it! wants to wobble round the park on it!  ;D

So what we got we a rusty sorry looking bike, knackered wheels, stuck seat post and random parts that were wrong for the bike, I sorted out new wheels for it from the stash and then with £100 I've breathed some new life into it.

This has all been done in the spare office at work when the boss hasnt been around!   :P :D

Parts run down

Peregrine bars
RL Edge 48's
Haro seat
Odyssey barefeet
Sport decals (Thanks Del)
Skyway turbo disc (thanks tefore)
Haro grips
Pitbull rear caliper
Bulldog front caliper
Purple Odyssey slic cables (Thanks Stodgy)
DMR V8 pedals
DK Stem

Thanks to Sean 2000 for the great deal on the bike.

Up close it has the odd mark and most of the parts are second hand so show wear and tear but I've enjoyed doing this as the marks give it character and its a nice little rider.  :daumenhoch:

The pics arent the best, me and camera dont seem to get on!
