Title: whos good a re-laceing spokes, 48s
Post by: monkeybat on September 02, 2011, 03:24 PM
Just got a DMC Mongoose but the wheels need an overhaul, chromeing whatever but I will need to put them back together which is beyond me.
Anyone in the Eseex area like a hobby for the weekend ?

Its good to know thanks. Im thinking of Anodising or rechromeing or even powder but until I have a way of putting them back together I dont feel that confident.

would do them myself believe me but ask twobobrob If im not working my wife is and then someone has to look after two small children age 2 and 3. Im looking forward to them BOTH going to play school for the day 9-3.30 at least 2 days a week. Thats why if I knew what I was doing to start with I would jump on it but the getting it right trial and error thing is time I do not have guys, oh life. Not enough hours in the day.
So I take them apart then off to Dan, Hadleigh chromers or anaodise ? what rims would You get.

No im useing the same rims just makeing them better. Yes please Dan but it might be a bit beyond your  Billy.  A Bike shop took two hours on each wheel on a similar pair.

Well Dan looks like Billys got something to do on a rainy day then. You can do the rims Dan then young Billy, if He can and would be so kind to put them back together.
Ill give you a call later.
