Title: A tight squeeze.
Post by: badbuckle on May 26, 2006, 01:33 PM
A pair of wheels I have have a set of Suzue hubs on them but the spacing on the hubs is slightly too big for the frame (by just a few millimeters) which makes it a ball@che trying to get the rear wheels  mounted into the frame. Now it's possible with a little bit of effort but I was just wondering, could it damage the frame at all?

It's possible you may make the chrome or paint crack and flake on the drop outs as the bolt & cone nut will not be coming into contact with the drop out perfectly parallell (sp).
