Right this has been bugging me for some time :rant:
every time i look in sales i see some thing and thing "Hell i would like that" so you look to see price or if it has sold - and what do you get ! SOLD now i don't mind that (well some times ::)) but i go to see what it sold at and what sort of price i'm looking to pay the next time i see one and *** nothing - the price has been changed to SOLD ?
why can't you keep the price up it sold for, instead of taking off the price and leaving us in the dark ? we don't always get to see it's price before it's sold
it would help other members to know a rough guide as to what things sold for - looking back at history and old threads
so come on why take the price off and not just put SOLD after the price ::)

Agree with both of you on this
I'm sometimes late to a listing, but look to get an idea of what stuff goes for and it can be annoying when everything just says 'sold'
but as Snav points out if someone's selling on, then people with photographic memories/internet stalkers might have an idea of mark-ups going on
But then these are only asking prices, tight c**ts like me usually have a bit of a haggle anyway
Ultimately it's up to the seller what they post, so don't expect anything to change!

i think it's a good idea if the seller does put sold on it cos if i wanted it and missed it and was very cheap i would be even more pi55ed off :LolLolLolLol:

I do it to protect the buyer :daumenhoch: if i sell something for £20 and the new owner wants to sell it for £30 people would be all over him/her saying "You only paid £20 for it" thus ruining there sale >:(
If it bugs you so much ask the seller what he sold it for ::)

It's nearly as annoying as when some people change their For Sale thread title every few hours so as people think its a new thread and click on it again...and again...and again!!!
And it turns out to be the same old shite that they've had on for weeks... :knuppel2:

Yeah, I dont like it when people swap the price for SOLD. Its also annoying when people keep adding and adding to an original For Sale thread. Im sure it will cost them potential buyers because I usually stop opening threads once I have established there is nothing of interest in them; anything new added later will then get missed..
But hey - we all have our own personal preferences..

Yeah, I dont like it when people swap the price for SOLD. Its also annoying when people keep adding and adding to an original For Sale thread. Im sure it will cost them potential buyers because I usually stop opening threads once I have established there is nothing of interest in them; anything new added later will then get missed..
But hey - we all have our own personal preferences..

It's actually a rule on The Museum that every post has to keep the original selling price and you cannot delete your own threads. You can also only relist your thread after 5 days or if you add another 7 items to it. They have some good rules on there and maybe the guys at Rad might want to have a read ???
My opinion only though but I tend to sway Bendys way a little on this :daumenhoch:

There is another scourge of rad, that's the human garbage that attempt to bamboozle buyers buy offering more than the listed price. Complete twats. That's why I remove the price and extra pics.
Crack me up these shit stains. Think they are clever these twats, even though they are as thick as pigshit with an iq in double figures.

i think you should just please yourself what you do i've bought a lot and sold a bit on here and like it how it is, i personally if someomne buys something i remove the price and put sold as a lot of people want to keep it private when they buy stuff , i'd rather not see the price on sold stuff personally nothing worse than seeing sold £35 on a part you've been after for ages on what you'd have happily given double , so leave as is , as said if someone is desperate to know how much something is just pm
