Title: Tuf neck /Pro neck Shaft Extraction

How the fook do these things come out ? Are they threaded ?

not sure if all them are, but mine is.

I clamped the stem using soft jaws in a large bench vice and using a socket and power bar . I cracked it off the normal way. Anti-clockwise. around the large bolt head I used electrical tape to protect the face of the stem from the socket.

I'm sure people have better ways.  :daumenhoch:

Are you talking about the shaft or the large nut hazza ?

craig, heat up the alloy with heat gun/paint stripper gun, and get the alloy red hot, it will expand enough to allow just a light tap with a lump hammer on top of the big nut, better still send it to CCA, they do it all for you if your having it re-anoed...
