i am really gettin annoyed at the ammount of punctures i get, like a couple a weel :buck2:
i have xposure dave tyres all round
is this normal or should i get better tubes or somefin?
-
Try blowing the tyres harder, you have checked the tyres for thorns on the inside????
I havent had a puncture in years so I don't think it is normal :daumenhoch:
-
Where are the holes? are they from spokes pushing from the inside? New rim tapes.
Are you clearing the source of the puncture? (ie, thorn in the tread) are you running too much/ too little pressure.
Do you know how to fix a puncture properly?
are the tubes dead old?
It will be simple, keeping air in tubes isn't rocket science!!!!
-
usually the popping on kerbs or glass/thorns
always take thorns out of tyre
got nw tyres and tubes recentley
and i think i am fixing them properly
-
Just unlucky then Dude, try looking where you ride!!
You could try putting an old inner tube between the tyre and tube as a protective layer, the Notts boys say they used to run two tyres, but thats mental, (which they mostly are :LolLolLolLol:)
Cheers

As above ^ and as much pressure as your tyres will stand. I'm really careful and I still get about one a month, almost all from commuting on sh1tty roads...
