Title: New school BMX advice please
Post by: NORTY40 on September 20, 2011, 09:35 PM
Not for me but for my mates lad . He's 9 and looking for a new school bike for xmas , his dads budget is around £200/300 .

I ain't got a clue but is there any brands / specific bikes you lads would recommend around that figure  ???

It will be used mainly for street riding but he does venture upto Coppull BMX track on a weekly basis  8)

Any help/advice i can pass on would would be appreciated  :daumenhoch:

My 10p worth in order of desirability and street cred

1. http://www.radbmxshop.co.uk/shop/article_815.003/Stereo-Speaker-2012.html'shop_param=cid%3D39%26aid%3D815.003%26
Stereo bikes do one of the nicest looking completes for the money, and the low frame will help the youngun if hes not all that long on the leg

2. http://www.radbmxshop.co.uk/shop/article_60.002/Subrosa-Atlus-**2012**.html'shop_param=cid%3D39%26aid%3D60.002%26
Our local track and the local lads aged 8-14 are all buzzing about subrosa, possibly becuase we now finally have a local dealer, or maybe because they make good little bikes with wicked decals

Speaks for itself, its a legendary name to have

hope this helps
