Title: Weight of Fit FAF kevlar tyre...
Post by: PaulM on September 26, 2011, 05:27 PM
Bit of a sad question but does anyone know the exact weight of a Fit FAF kevlar folding tyre? in either 2.1 or 1.9 sizes?

Cheers
Paul

If you really want lite sticky tires Check out TIOGA PowerBlocks.

There meant to be race tyres but street n park riders are starting to use them because there so light.

20x2.1 wire = 395g ,     20x2.1 s-spec kevlar = 330g

20x1.95 wire = 380g ,   20x1.95 s-spec kevlar = 305g

I ride the wire 2.1's front and rear and I love em. L

I did look at those and the Maxxis Grifter tyres too which are also light, but I wasn't keen on the overall looks of them tyres and I really wanted tan walls too.
Good info though
