Post by: oldtired on September 27, 2011, 11:35 PM

Are You going to use the usual generic type or the Fly Guiri tabs?

hadn't decided as yet which is one of the reasons i was asking as i know they are different , although it looks like its only aboout 5mm diference between the two sets of tabs,  quit like the look of the fly ones with the thread in the middle instead of the generic L shape tab ,   i assume you've got new schoolie frame ,  measurements would be cool for which ever tabs you use  :daumenhoch:

:daumenhoch:  nice one  :daumenhoch:   do you think drilling holes in a frame voids your warranty then ?    :LolLolLolLol:

Personally I don't think it should if it's done well, but most bike co's will say it does! Here's the measurements from Two frames I have  :daumenhoch:
Frame with Fly tabs 15mm to centre of top threaded hole.
Frame with normal tabs 22mm to centre of peg hole.

cheers for that  :daumenhoch:  figured it was about 5mm difference so with it being 7mm wouldn't of been that far out ,   right, a  little bit of fiddling then  :daumenhoch:   :LolLolLolLol:

I'd think You could go a few mm either side of those measurements with no problems anyway, main thing is to get them level both sides  :daumenhoch:
