Hope of getting a Team Rampar was long gone.
Untill someone actually found my wtb add, buried deep in the bmx museum forums.
Just amazing...
I had just bought the Blue Max. Couple of days after somebody just contacted me :D
That's how it goes I guess. Ecstatic :D
It's a '78 and was shipped to me out of Live Oak, Cali.
This is the build I was actually waiting for.
TBH I only started the Fiola bike because when I was looking for Bottemas for a Rampar build,
I had a shot at getting the M-2's. So I took it.
Even found small Rampar bars, but no Team Rampar near.
Griff: Once and a while two golden eggs will be found there guarded on the seat by a giant manchild

Nah, they'll be on the conveyor belt from your house to my house soon Yannick, it's just a matter of time... >;-D

I can watch it over and over and over...

Nice idea about the AP replica.
Hey I found this picture in a BMX Bi weekly
John Lee riding very odd Raleigh Burner in '84
Anybody know anything about this frame??
Maybe he still has it...

Love that 1st pic, never seen that before - I have some thruster bars just like the Rampars and some full wrap flites, I really must think hard about one of these builds

I was talking to Craig schofield at the bash this year about those.
Only two or three were made by the same guy. Craig owns one, he said he broke it 1st time out and they were crap, Toby and jeff didn't stick to theirs for long.
Think Toby went from the bmx products to this special development unit frame to an R11 XL.
The later 84 chrome frames were an improvement.
Here he is on the R11 XL in Chinese red.
Notice he's running all the same parts.
