I thought that I needed a bike to start OS racing with. I have always like the look of Auburn's so that is what I went for.
The actual frame is a 1990 Auburn CR20r with Auburn forks and Auburn bars.
Here are some pictures and I will do a parts list next...

that is lush - lovely looking frame :smitten:
-
That's lovely Sean :daumenhoch:
-
it's not auburn - it's GINGER
(that's what the kids used to tell me at school anyway ;D)
very nice sean - those frames are different & like the look of those chunky calipers too
always wondered though what's the reasoning behind the detachable (looking) rear-end - from what I understand it's all rigid just wondered why they did it like that..?

Hair the colour of flame I've heard it described as ;)
Think the reason behind the detachable rear triangle was so you could slap longer/short RT's to alter the bikes wheelbase? Weren't Auburn bought out by GT in the early 90's?

In the beginning of Auburn they wanted to make different lengths of rears but it never happened, they are all the same. The fronts had different lengths but they never did do anything with the rears. Auburn was bought out by GT in 93 I believe.
Very nice looking bike!

Also a bolt on rear triangle as they changed from chromoly rears to aluminium rear triangles.
