depends
post up some info and pics :daumenhoch:
mk1 77-81 ish had a T before the serial number on the BB
on the mk2, stepped rear drops, have to generally look for a three hole brake bridge
how ever in 81 to 82 there are many half breeds due to the old material /frame stocks being used
-
check out the brake bridge.if it has a hole each side of the hole for the caliper then its a super,if its just got the one hole then its a mongoose,im assuming you are talking about the gusseted geese??

Ask John ( Bobafet ) he will tell you who made it on what day in which year . :daumenhoch:

Just a vanilla Mongoose bud - is it dull chrome or nickel ???
-
i'd like to say nickel , but i think it's dull chrome
-
Oh, watch out for the shark's who might have spotted the Bottema forks on that bud - if they're originals, don't sell them.... ever, unless you sell them to me :smitten:
-
dont think there Bottema M1's Spen, I'm sure the drop outs were longer and had a taper at the bottom..
-
drops deffo different.
-
they look more like M2's but even they had a different drop out. Deff not Bottemas if you ask me :-X
-
Never mind lads, just making sure some shark didn't swoop in - it's a public service we offer up here in Sheffield you know :LolLolLolLol:

indeed they did dave but they aren't whats on this goose, the dropouts on the webco forks are longer like redline or the M1 bottema, the ones on this goose are like the M2 dropout.
