Post by: Jt on October 15, 2011, 11:25 AM
Anyone else think this looks like it is slightly bent?

Do you know what guy's,I have to agree with J.T.,I reckon this Anlun looks slightly bent!.Rare though.... I had the opportunity to buy an absolutely mint one a few years ago for around the £90 mark, but declined to buy because my wallet had really been hammered by Old School purchases at the time!.You don't need me to tell you that I really regret not finding the funds to buy it as I have never seen a 'mint' example since then.

 :wtf:

£90 is a lot today, I think you made a good choice not buying an Anlun seatpost for £90 a few years ago

I saw a Nos one in the bag sell at MK this year for £60 or £70

This is why I think certain os bits are going down, like nos parts are going up, but a few years ago, a cromo burner was worth about 600, now they go for about 300, this is the same with other bits as well. It's only the stuff that's just getting rarer, and whether a certain part is needed for a bike lots of people are building.

If it is bent then it's around the Height mark as far as my eyes see it - but it also could be the lighting throwing it off

if put on a frame i think you wouldn't notice it that much unless some one said there was a bend in it and then you might see it or not ?

Yup. Buts it's anlun, for a 84 master. Needs to be right, and I don't think It is.

It was at 62 quid for a while and has dropped back down to 20 odd, so someone's bid has been removed.asked the seller and he said it looks straight to him.

Not convinced..gonna leave it.
