I have a DC seatclamp I have had since I started BMX way back in the early eighties and It was old then.
Looked on feebay for a good idea on price but I see one going for £49+ and one stuck at £9.99 ?

no other reason than 'demand'... its just how the market has gone, where people want the most desirable product....
-
The cheap one may shoot up in the last seconds too.
-
the long and short of it is colour alot of the time. End time can be a factor and quality of photographs

What makes a DC clamp more valuble ?
The DC stamp :)
and that's it
-
but why are they so sought after?
i can't see the attraction tbh, would much rather have a twin bolt or some other make such as tuf-neck :daumenhoch:

Distinctive and original. Easy to spot a fake. I have used a DC hinged clamp on all my builds as that is what I remember from BITD :daumenhoch:

i see what you're saying, i suppose thats why i like the earlier twin bolt version as i had them on a few of my bikes aswell as suntours bitd

The twin bolt is equally as valuable, but to old for my builds so far. These things are only as valuable as people are prepared to pay.
