Post by: monkeybat on October 18, 2011, 05:48 PM
I have a DC seatclamp I have had since I started BMX way back in the early eighties and It was old then.
Looked on feebay for a good idea on price but I see one going for £49+ and one stuck at £9.99 ?

no other reason than 'demand'...  its just how the market has gone, where people want the most desirable product....

The cheap one may shoot up in the last seconds too.

but why are they so sought after?

Distinctive and original.  Easy to spot a fake.  I have used a DC hinged clamp on all my builds as that is what I remember from BITD :daumenhoch:

The twin bolt is equally as valuable, but to old for my builds so far.  These things are only as valuable as people are prepared to pay.
