Frame and forks any good? Starting a rider build ?
-
Sorry people was writing that in a rush before heading to work should have read Diamond Back Venom ::)
-
Do you know what year it is fella? The majority of the Venoms in the 90's were chromolly maintubes only. They're fairly strong - but won't take any heavy street/park bashing for long. Seem to remember they came in at sub £250, ideal starter bikes in the mid 90's. Also seem to remember the components they came with were fairly middle of the road as well :)
Then again, not every bikes a Standard/S&M etc - if you like it, build it :)
-
Mid 90's i think , Had a Dyno VFR back in the day seen a couple of frames i like but they seem to be race or dirt frames not sure if its frowned upon to stick tuff 2's on stuff like that and use it as a rider but it worked in the 90's :-\

Build it how you want it fella :daumenhoch: It's not frowned upon to stick mags on owt from the mid 90's. It was common place from the early to mid 90's to see mags/ front mag-rear spoked set-ups, I nearly wanged a mag on the front of the S&M 1990 Holmes I've got :)
Hang on a tick and I'll scan a Ride for a Venom review :)

Ere are - Venom Pro though so got the double top-tube round the seat tube/TT area, Ride Mag June/July 1996, tested at the everso lovely Slades Farm :daumenhoch:

2004 version Rob, my first bike (errr battleship) back into bmx :(
Was the only brand I recognised among the new skool at the time, it almost put me off bikes for life lol!

Well stuck the Tuff 2's on the frame and put the sr stem , crank and bars on off my burner :idiot2: for now don't look too bad. Going to stick some tech77 levers , decent calipers on so i can ride it then start replacing the Burner bits
Not to most peoples standard but that my venture back into BMX lol
