Title: MY 84 Quadangle done ;-) Pics!
Post by: JJR on June 03, 2006, 06:44 PM
A while ago I bought a Quadangle but today I gave it a "face lift" ;-)
What you think?
The bike how I bought it

And after the "face lift"

Will change the decals too later (red LG and maybe black on the frame)

z rims suck

Yes, it looks much faster & lighter now - back to its racing roots. A great looking build.

I notice many people thread the brake cable through the Quadangle frame - doing this never occurred to me when I used mine, but it makes sense.

The problem with Z-rims was that they were marketed as 'indestructible', so as soon as people put them on a bike they would purposely try to bend them.
After a particularly serious 'bend', they never quite went back to true.

It looked pretty good before but agree it's much nicer now. Cracking job. Liking that cranks, chainring and pedals combo especially.
