just come back from southsea skatepark (as a spectator) and seeing the amount of black new school rides was amazing...i have been thinking for a while to get SBD to powder mine black as ive always had a liking for them...the problem i have is whether its worth doing, i only have the one bike and its a haro 04 limited edition freestyler...once its been powdered thats it, it could be any bmx out there as the decal-plaque will be gone..
what do you lot think? i do like it as it is now in the white but when i let my grandson ride it earlier today and i watched him i thought maybe it looks a bit too fresh if you know what i mean.also what about the decals after if i did have it done? maybe leave it blank.........
decisions decisions....
ps i dont need anyone telling me its a shit bike etc etc, just an honest opinion on what you would do..
cheers,Paul.. :daumenhoch:

Sell it and buy a new school bike... :daumenhoch:
-
love it as it is, who wants to be a sheep? :daumenhoch:
-
my local park is full of ns tripe and everyone is black all be it gloss or matt black, but shock horror a yellow frame was spotted last week and yesterday a orange frame maybe the band wagon wheel fell off i hope so :LolLolLolLol:
-
Keep this frame as it is. If your bored buy another frame from here or eBay and powder it black. Just wrap the frame up as it will be worth something in the future. :daumenhoch:

may not have the funds to keep this though, and get another one...may have to sell to raise the cashola..

i've got a new Fly Diablo for sale at £70, get that done in black :daumenhoch:
-
If your not happy sell it ,would be a shame if its stripped of its original finnish
-
Yeah buy pickles frame. It's a bargain at £70. I saw it last night at t1. Surely you. Can afford that? It's not worth selling the white Haro as the prices for those as collectors items has yet to rise. But it will in the future. It was limited edition frame set. I would buy a cheap frame either use it as it is or powder it the colour you want. Then pick up cheap new school bits of here and eBay over the next year or so. Then you can store all the original Haro bits so it can sell as a complete in the future. Just make sure you don't trash it to much! :daumenhoch:
-
I think it looks great as it stands Paul, i would leave it as it is and enjoy it.

It doesn't seem like yesterday that this bike was new school.
I don't even know what new school is. Is new school 2011 bikes only?
-
I'd personally leave well alone, looks lovely and shows your old school roots!why fade into anonymity? :daumenhoch:
-
Leave it alone, I woulnt mess with that at all, future guaranteed classic right there
-
Put a donk on it.

Yeah sorry, wrong choice of words on my part... :idiot2:
Should have said newer school... ;D
I'd leave it as is and buy a something else, as others have said it'd be a shame to powder it... :-\
-
Leave it as it is i like it :daumenhoch:
-
Leave it , sell it , buy Rob's :)
Job done :4_17_5:
-
dont do anything to it,
leave it exactly as it is,
just sit and look at it,
and when you're bored of looking and it and want to move on to looking at something else,
it'll still be worth a few quid because of the stickers on it.
:daumenhoch:
-
my honest opinion, leave it and buy a cheap new skool then have that painted :daumenhoch:
-
that would be amazing and you'd get a thumbs up thingymajig from me,
that twin top tube subrosa for starters, why oh why has no-one used this as the basis for a retro build,
strip it, white powder, repro sticker set.
i'll still rib you about the frame design but you'd have my respect for actually building something start-to-finish.
;)
-
I am with the majority keep it white :4_17_5:
-
Strip the fooker and paint it if you want a different colour.
If you go through life worrying about future classics / collectables nothing would ever get ridden!

Take off the bits you have put on, put it back to original and stick it on the bay with international shipping. The Yanks will like this. :daumenhoch:
