Title: BUYER BEWARE
Post by: AKGOFF on November 13, 2011, 09:56 PM
Someone may get a good deal here but the seller doesn't have Paypal and only has 10 Feedback, just makes me a little weary when you're spending a few quid.

I think you have to have paypal in order to sell on ebay.

So alarm bells are ringing . . . .

yes on usa ebay they can use other payment services and don't have to be tied to paypal as over there it was deemed illegal to have to use paypal only and not other payment services, over here no one has taken them to task so you have to take paypal in uk , so may be absoluteley legit but as adam says unless you were picking up in person i'd be a bit dubious to habd that sort of dosh over

I've heard quite a few stories of people seeing good os bikes on craigslist and then picking it up and there's no bike, I wouldn't go for them, but then again I wouldn't waste £2000 on some used cranks.
