Yikes!
They are horrific!
-
Wonder if thats the same pair as I saw in there store 4 years ago :)
-
Feel sorry for the bugger who laced them
-
They have almost thrice the number of spokes in the front wheel on my rider.
-
Yeah - early 90's through to around 97-ish. They're called Peregrine Crazy 95's :) Decent price as well - seen em go for around $200 without postage.
-
They have a home made feel about them.
-
i remember them being called peregrine 'manly' 95's
dan harris should be able to confirm as he has a set or 2
the rim used to crack between the spoke holes as they were drilled so close together.
-
:wtf:
They look fooking awful

You might be right - I think I remember seeing em here as Manly's, maybe state-side they're Crazy's?
-
Simon I've just bought a pair of these and wondered if you could lace them for me with the hub stamp at 70 degree east of the valve hole on front rim and 72 degrees west with one side 6 cross pattern and radial on the other at the rear . :)
Dropping them off on Thursday Ja :daumenhoch:
( OCD inhouse joke)
-
I think they would be a pig to lace up :wtf:

i remember them being called manly 95's too. and that they used to crack between holes on the rims and the hubs. anyone remember the truck rim, tim ruck made a ring that sat in the centre of the hub that was radial laced to the rim and then cross laced the hub to the rim. never seen many of them tho.
-
they were manly 95s, customised by a place in missouri - Stylin' shop I think??
-
did they do the ones with a flat ring round the centre of the hub suspended by extra spokes, aswell?

that was the tim ruck one's i mentioned.
-
Not often Tim Ruck gets a mention. :daumenhoch:
I can see those Truck conversion wheels now, on a rusty TA with Itson bars, a home modified motorbike chainring and a moped chain (that was always coming off!)
-
i remember i wanted to try it so i made a ring and drilled 48 holes in it but couldn't find the right size spokes. i've still got the ring i made too.
