Title: Do the clamps from lock-on grips fit different brands?

I got some Clarks lock-on grips cheap as chips, and the rubber has worn to virtually nothing in a few months of average use. The clamps are still decent, does anyone know if they'll fit Odi lock-on grips (which are available without the clamps)?

Not always,trial & error I guess.
