Some OK stuff there. Mk3 Holmes frame by the look of it
Repro pad set tho.
The cranks aint 1st Gen (As it says) I think they are 3rd Gen, and the bearing covers look like they are profile.
Be interesting to ee what they go for, they dont come up often, and all that stuff is in very good condition.
-
yep deffo a mk3 frame, same decals that my one had when i bought it back in 94
would love those prince alberts and the 1in clamp on stem and forks :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
-
The forks have come up a few times and not sold for that much, but mainly cos they only fit the matching S&M stem. The forks with the stem might go for a bit more.
I havent seen a set of PA cranks come up for a while, and not in that condition. Could be high
-
no chance of me buying em, been spending to much on bikes this month and there not even bmx's!!
-
I'd love those PA cranks... :smitten:

Didn't think that these frames were that expensive?
-
Up to £150 for a nice Mk3 Holmes is about right.
I'd say they are the most common 1" S&M frame, esp in chrome. They come up quite often
-
as alex said mk3's now go for £130-£150, a few years ago they were around £100 but quite a few people seem to be jumping on the mid school collecting scene and s&m are one of the main sought after companies so prices are rising
-
Oh right, remember them not being that dear is all, how much would a really early s&m frame fetch? A '92 and earlier?
-
a mk1 holmes/dirtbike or a mk2 holmes would be around £200+ depending on condition etc....
now if it was a mad dog then £300+
