Title: AD990 which one is the lowest ?

Want to run new school drive train on a frame that has a AD990 brake near the chain wheel. Is there any one rake thats sits the lowest or do I have to get different bolts ?
Thnking of making the Schwinn more modern another way if I cant move the brake bosses.
