As per the title, a big thank you goes out to Bournemouth BMX club and everyone who helped to organise today.
It was an amazing day, some 1st class bikes where on display and the racing action was great fun!!!
The midnight p1ssed racing on Sun night was well funny if not very mad!! ;D
There was also a huge turn out of ex pro's, I'm sure you'll see plenty of pics of them all gathered on the start hill very soon.
-
Yeah massive respect to all involved and to the guys at RAD 8)
Was a top day wich i will remember for along time. Big thanks to Mr Acid for the loan of his TA as well.
CHEERS ;)

-
Thanks all, had a great day!
shattered this moring!

yeh great weekend, quadpaul was that you in the arsed class who enjoyed nothing more than a good dust bath ;)
Yeah that was me! I am missing skin from my knee, hip and shoulder! I still blame the 1st crash on you cutting me up round the final berm though, nothing to do with my lack of riding skill (honest) :)
-
Great weekender guys, you lot are a top bunch
the camping and drinking was fun, it was a miracle no one got hurt going round the track in pitch dark with torches, pissed up
radbmx boozer award goes to meddle (didnt see him racing though :D), i think a few may have done the same!
great show and shine effort with many people bringing 2 or more bikes, ratties included
cool racing the not arsed had about 20 riders all fighting it out to qualify for the semis, then the A final, some great scraps (looked quite arsed to me)
the arsed only had 6 riders so no qualifying needed, it was a shame Tom Lynch had signed up and was looking fast but crashed on the big step up and broke his collar bone in practice, Terry (blackrat)also broke his collar bone on it too in the National - ouch
i think i was lucky when i slammed it in the final, my back wheel wasnt so lucky!
who was the guy whos front tyre popped off the rim gooing over the doubles? that looked scary
Top day, now wheres that deep heat

hope to see you racing some more paul

oh yeh night racing sponsered by stellar, could be the future :o

Absolutely stonking day - some fab showbikes that a really raising the bar for restos.
Biggest turnout I've seen which just shows how this collecting kids bikes lark is growing and growing.
Watching the racing was cool too - the track scared the sh!te out of me and if that was the not-arsed class I'm the new pope!
Seeing Andy Ruffell turn from a 37 year old to a 14 year old in seconds was well funny too....the grin on his face was wider than the collection of bikes PKRadman brought along!
Cheers to anyone I bought bits off - I've lost the pedals and black tuf-neck chainring I got of Rich (waxintaxin) - hopefully they are in Pauls van but if anyone picked up a carrier bag with blue BM-10's and the chain ring in I'd like em!
Thanks again to the organisers - it was Rad!

Yeah well done everyone.
Think I may start going to Braintree and maybe MK for a bit more racing, as I just about have the speed, but was sh@t scared of the jumps. Even braking into them I was getting thrown into the air and got caught out in my 1st moto. Ouch.

Hi I'm AP"CW, I'm a new to the forum.
Quality day down at the Bourenmouth track yesterday. Good to see some old school legends and some wicked bikes (the Roger DeCoster bike 8) ) Fair play to involved.
:)
-
Wicked time had, my head has stopped thumping finally. If I'd ridden I wouldn't have taken so many pics though.

Great day at Bournemouth. Thanks to Geoff and the crew down there. Brilliant to see you all again. The old school racing was fantastic, but I spec'd too modern to enter! Went into 30+ instead.
"who was the guy whos front tyre popped off the rim gooing over the doubles? that looked scary"
Yeah, that was me. Happened twice actually, but the second time I cracked a couple of ribs! Hope to catch up with all of you again some time.
Cheers
Luke

I was told Tim wasn't very well, hence the no show, and yes he still lives local. He popped down last year.
