can someone run a tape measure from bar end to bar end for me, i have a set of late eighties kneesavers that have been cut down, and i want to know by how much.

Mine are 27" wide.

are they late eighties ones with the haro stamps?
were they all the same?

no , there are allot of small changes from different production dates.
I think this was because they may have switched factories a few times during production over the years to get better prices.
the biggest differences is the noticeable height and shape of the cross bar.

well the cross bar is how it is, but im gonna weld more tube on the end, to make it up to the 27"
unless anyone has any conflicting opinions on this length.

having said that 27" does sound wide, i have just looked at 2 rulers next to each other...

were they really 27" across the gap? from end to end?
