She rides really sweet and solid. gearing is 36 13. just put the pro neck stem on it , using one of those multi alan key sets!! just noticed that the 3.5 key had popped out and put a deep scratch in The top :'(
Also lads' the Dk stem I removed was a bit thicker and the chis king headset doesn't pull down on the tuff neck stem ??? these washers should be standard to get hold of ??? Need it sorted for the London ride :)
Thanks for your comments John :daumenhoch:

the trouble with the pauls and the shitmano style V-brakes is that its nigh on impossible to get the tops of the arms to angle in with the width of the bmx rim,i ran one for a while on my tonic fab, they always end up looking a bit ill-fitting, i only mentioned the odyssey A as its arms angle inwards at the top so it fits flush to the seat-stays,
if you wanted a more retro caliper looking V-brake have a look at the cane creek, with a re-ano it would look a bit more retro,
and the seatpost, i'm not being a tw@t here, but be aware of it, the x-lite design has a tendancy to shear the entire guts of the top of the post leaving a sharp tube of alloy post ripe for spearing your spleen, or worse,
ESP at the height you've got it at,
plus it's a light XC post anyways,
only saying this out of personal experience with x-lite posts, and the company disappeared aeons ago should something serious happen,
just friendly advice from one rider to another,
buy a thomson.
-
Very good advice..and I hope others know or read the part about the seat post. I'll look at the brakes :daumenhoch:
some rad love :smitten:
-
I would take a rubber, in case that post goes up your ass ;D
