I could be wrong, but I think I read that "it pains me to say ..." Comment. I took it to be aimed at NS bikes generally, and it happened to be a United that took it.

United bikes are one of the good guys, for sure. Tons of effort go into everything they do and they are in it for all the right reasons. Infact, I'm wearing a United Tshirt right now.   :daumenhoch:

United Supremes are that sort of money and they're pretty decent.

You have no idea how much it pains me to say that....

Also, Stodgy has done some customs for that budget recently. A high end frame with special offer or sale components on. Well worth it. Give him a ring, have a chat. You never know what's coming along.

Haha. So it was 2Bob who said it! Well he knows who owns United, and Remember, 2Bob pretty much fell out with everyone who rode in the 90s.   ;D

So it was a personal comment rather than a knock on the bikes?

Very nice Betty, I do like a red frame.  and a big bunnyhop. :daumenhoch:

Yeah I always had United down as a BMX ethical company, but i asked as you never know who's taking over who these days. I'll keep running the United value seat post, BB and headset on my bike then ;)

United is a great brand doing things right.

Some lovely products and an amazing team.

TBH you can't go wrong with their stuff.

United are a great company run and owned by hard working BMXers.

One of their new frames, the United/Bicycle Union Colab frame is an older mans dream. Higher top tube, not super short. Candy red.
Jimmys first bike even had Hutch rip off decals on it. And he has one foot tables (and hair) just like Timmy Judge!

Yeah, it was me....

I have some issues with the world in general, but BMX wise I have a personal problem with the owner of United.

However, I'm nothing if not fair and the United product is proving to be a good one. But like my original post said, it pains me to say it.
