Title: How do i date an Ammaco?

Hi guys i got this bike off a guy for £20 but ive never had one of these so i dont know how to figure out the year it was made. I found some on bmx museum that said 1983 but i just want to be sure. Also does anyone have a pic of one of these in original state?

I'd thought about it but i thought that was to forward.

I'm thinking about a movie and full makeover as she is not really up to much when you get in close.  ;D

Jonnygoose (Bobafett) may be able to help, but anywhere between 1981 and 1985 would be my guess, possibly earlier due to the gusset being in place from the downtube to the seatpost :daumenhoch:

Like you said, not the best quality bikes but starting to get worth restoring as a lot of us had them as kids - I've got a 1982 Ammaco 202 in my collection still kicking about :coolsmiley:

Thanks spen69, i think i will use this as my everyday bike for popping to the shops etc.

Ha ha, Greame (the Ruler) found them first - he's now got Back to the future as his. I've got a few more to roll out eventually - let's just say the Force will be strong with my next one :LolLolLolLol:

Restoring and cleaning my hopefully nice survivor team special as we speak ;)
