I have been trying to Recall what it is , Its a Bike sold By a Catalogue company in the 80,s I think ..Someone with a better memory will be along soon... Its not a Mongoose ..

its a mongoose wire wheel, made in france I believe - still part of the mongoose range however, just less desirable 8)

Yup mongoose "wire wheel" manufactured under license from mongoose, for Ammaco, by a french 3rd party :laugh:
Not your usual USA heliarc welded goose by any means but a bit of UK mongoose history none the less.
That's a nice clean frame - the build spec is not original but not a million mile off.
Here's mine which is factory spec...........
