anyone have a clue as to what this is worth sons mate wants beer tokens for christmas but have no idea  what  to ask for it
jag frame/ forks /bars

unknown cranks

chrome good just a bit chewed on rear drop outs

No idea on price, but cranks look like TA Specialities.

If you or your friend want to sell it, purchase a site supporter tag and put it in the For Sale section.

sorry did not mean to cause a problem , i want the bike but dont know what offer him for it. thats why i was after a rough price on it as have looked but cant find another  to compare with

Well I'd start him at 50 quid!

Then wave a few more notes in front of him if he doesn't bite.

He'll be happy with cash in his pocket for xmas stella, and you get the nice looking bike to play with!

If you just want to buy it then make a few quid in the resale, then that's up to you and your conscience!

Some things have a clear value, others, well if you can get a bargain that's what makes this hobby fun.

want to keep it something appealing about it surviving this long
think hes looking £125 for it , time i throw some money at it for tyres seat etc just didnt want to get burnt on it

No problem at all, sometimes these threads end up a mess as the vultures start circling throwing offers.

I would probably go as high as £125 (maximum) for it, as you do have a full bike.  But it does need some work.
