We're the original twisted pedals mid school?
-
not that i can remember, pretty sure they are new school, mid school oddy pedals were those ones which came on hoffman completes, triple traps, beartraps etc...
-
I thought the metal ones were kinda of mid school. Thought it was only the plastic ones that were new school.
-
maybe they were 2000 onwards?
check out the 90's mail order scans thread

I worked at Saddles and Paddles bike shop in Exeter in 1997 til 1998, and I ordered a set of Odyssey Twisted metal pedals in silver in for a ustomer, they were fresh out - though most were only 1/2" thread, as most BMX low end bikes had one piece cranks... though they did do 9/16" , but these were thin on the gound. ... so they are late mid school by my reckoning.

Found an ad in Aug-Sep 1997 issue of Ride introducing the Twisted pedal, bang on Steve :daumenhoch:

I would actually run metal twisted now if I could find sealed metal ones. Theyre rad! But I hate plastic.
-
there you go, 1997 onwards :daumenhoch:
need to get that 90's mail order scans thread finished off :LolLolLolLol:

Excellent thanks guys. Mid school is a tough era to find parts for but I'm getting there.

An awful lot of mid schoolers ran DXs. Either Shimanos, GTs or Victors.

I've got a load of pairs of Shimanos when cycle sport were selling them off cheap. Mostly Gold :daumenhoch:

I was on DXs right up until about 2 years ago. Broke an axle and damn near broke an ankle so decided it was time to hang those 30 year old things up.
