Title: Aero reflex seat post size???

Can anyone on here once & for all tell me what size seat post will fit into an aero reflex frame without having to use a shim please? I've ordered a 22.2 renthal layback & I'm hoping this will not need a shim, please help as somebody on this site must know for sure.  :daumenhoch:

ive got a renthal layback on my reflex but it still needs a shim, not sure what size cos i used a cut up drinks can.

I have also bought a renthal seat post for mine, I've measured the seat post & I'm certain it's 22.2mm but it's going to need a shim & I'm not using a cut up coke can, a bit pi#@ed off actually >:(

The reflex used to come with shim for the post, its a weird size  :-\

Biagio assures me he has the correct size shim for an aero reflex, it's probably one of the original ones that came with reflexes. When it arrives I will try it with my renthal post & let you all know. Robbo, what's your problem with Biagio? I have ordered quality NOS parts off him with no problems, at the end of the day you pay your money & you take your choice, Biagio just always seems to have those NOS parts that nobody else has. If somebody really wants a particularly rare part, they are going to pay whatever it takes, a simple case of supply & demand, its as simple as that :daumenhoch: I think a can of worms has just been opened :LolLolLolLol:

Are there any updates on this one ? I need a shim for my Aero but i have no idea what size to try and source. I have a GT layback post that is also 22.2mm.

I got a pm form a guy saying the ones from biagio fit so I email him through vert-ego to order one but never got a reply,

I bought a shim through vert-ego & it makes my renthal post fit snug inside my reflex, I think he charged me £4 ish, I'm pretty sure they are the shims that should come with the frame & forks but are being taken out & sold seperately, either way I'm happy. Email him as I'm sure he will have more knocking around.

They are more like 23mm posts for the Reflex,they did as mentioned come with a shim included in the bag with the decals,I have also seem MT Fox posts in this strange size? from memory they were black fluted posts :)

I have spoke to Biagio. He has a few of these shims left and they are the Aero ones that were sold with the frames previously. If anyone needs to replace their coke can i suggest you get an order in pronto.
