Here is my first custom build.
Frame + Forks - '82 Fuji MX500
Mags - 70's Unknown
Tires - NOS 70's Orbit Motocross
Crank - NOS '79 Ashtabula
Pedals - NOS 70's RatTraps
Chainring - NOS 70's Schwinn 'Sweetheart' Phantom
Stem - Chromed Double Clamp
Bars - NOS '79 Grifter
Grips - NOS Oury
Padset - NOS Flites
Set Clamp - Odyssey GI
Seat Post - Generic
Seat - NOS Strada 'Ross'
It started life as a £20 second hand bike shop bargain frame and forks...

...which i had powder coated gloss black...

...then aquired a bunch of parts...

@ Norty, cheers dude. A 70's looker was the idea until i could a get ride from the 70's (which i now have and will be posted up next).
@ Frosty, thanks man. As to Lesters, i don't know as there are no makers marks on the rims that i can see.

I think my first (2nd hand) BMX may have been a Schauff.....It certainly had drum brakes and metal wheels.... :coolsmiley:
