He bought that from Sell-all-his-stuff or something like that. She spins a yarn about him being a fire fighter who collected some stuff and now she's selling it.
Got some good stuff but can be pricey.

Did Santa buy the Master Brett? ;)

Yeah, I saw this ad before it sold and was tempted at 475 but then reminded myself that even at this price, its still a crazy price to pay for a frame..

Wonder who got it..??

That seem's to be quite a low price for a NOS f/forks(with original box), i sold a white master 85 that had been imported from across the pond(repowdered by C4 labs) in October 2010 for a BIN price of £450 8)

I remember Alan's selling completes with Tuffs, MX1000's etc all NOS for about £250 quid.
I would see them in the ad's and think "meh . . . old Haro"

It was a fun time, with a lot of choice.
There were always big ticket items for sale, but now it seems almost everything is a big ticket item.

I know that as things get harder to find (lots of bikes now part of people's collections) and the prices of the last few go up, but why should they?
The last item of stock of a particular product in a shop is priced at the same rate as the first.

Unless the shop keeper things "ah I get extra profit here by the screwing the last buyer who obviously wants it bad"
And there the greed kicks in, and a new "value" of an item is set.  All based upon greed.

I know folks have got to make a living though, I don't begrudge anyone that.
