the donor bike came 1st today so i give it a quick strip down sorted the parts out. Put the chain and the bb in the cleaning bath i have made up. well happy with the bike relay clean
so will get that out in morning sorted the stuff too polish on the buffing wheel done a few of them. Painted the top part of the sr headset. then the restored frame and parts turned up. had a quick look at that very happy.
went to pick my son up from school now its too cold to work i my shed or garage will finish off in morning.
a quick question does anyone know what is best for removing the polish after the parts have been on the buffing wheel, i had some chalk stuff before but don't have any left what is it or can i use a different thing to get it off and where do i get it from.

The tyers were are hard to clean in the end my wifes toothbrush done the job with oven cleaner and washing-up liquid.
The rest off the parts just took yonks on the buffing wheel came up well tho. The chain is the best thing i have been cutting these off on every bike and its came up brand new all the chains i have wasted.
hope you like i think the only none stock part is the new seat and 1 new brake cable inner i might be wrong tho

I use brake cleaner to remove the polishing soap leftovers on alloys i polish. Just a clean cloth and a quick spray/wipe and its gone. Paint friendly too ;) remember brake cleaner and not brake fluid :D ;D
Burners dont get major propz on here but good restos do none the less.
Get it entered into bike of the month on burnerworld 8)
