Title: Fitting a freewheel
Post by: lk_97 on December 08, 2011, 10:07 PM
This is a bit of a stupid question, but I've never had to do it before, but I have a wheel with no freewheel, is it just a case of screwing it on, or do you need a certain tool?

put some grease on the threads then screw it on, once the wheel is fitted to the bike put your brake on then stand on the pedals and it will tighten up the last little bit  :daumenhoch:

so you dont "cross thread " the freewheel turn it the wrong way first so the threads line up correctly  :daumenhoch:

Lucas, as Andy said make sure you grease the threads and it will help to remove it if you need to ;-)
