Title: 1994 Haro Sport... built to ride :-)
Post by: ED209 on December 12, 2011, 03:18 PM
So here's what I brought instead of a new school bike  :) 94 Haro Sport ... little longer than my 91 and much beefier

got busy with the Peek...

slammed the rear wheel right up to get as small a rear length as poss.
Got my Hoffman LowDrags on and some new Primo V-Monster tyres on my Sun Rims...  :)

I like what I've tried to do but side by side with my neon green 91 then the 91 wins hands down so I dunno how long this will last  ::)

will give it a good go on Saturday for the Radbash  :daumenhoch:

Lovely Ed  :daumenhoch:

This one's shiney ;)

Think they had a longer TT (did they change the steerer angle as well?)

Cheers fellas...

It felt pretty good at the last Boardroom night but I've switched up a load of parts now so the proof will be in the riding 'pudding' on Saturday ... got my 91 built up to compare  :)

its an emotional roller coaster,

i clicked the thread ready to feel a bit distasteful towards a haro,

and i actually like it!
thats a nice build Ed, looks wicked, still un-sure about the aesthetics of the "bashy" frames but that looks excellent! :daumenhoch:

then i saw the tinsel wrapped bike and went straight back to shaking my head in disillusionment.

a bmx is for life,

not just for xmas.

cheers Joe.

The tinsel was to 'get festive' for a Xmas ride - I did look for battery operated xmas lights but it was sketchy enough riding it like that waiting for the tinsel to wrap round the chain and bring me off. Its back to its old self now.

I know what you mean about the rollercoaster  ;)

Kneesavers on the before pics and Hoffman Low Drags on the after ones  :)

I've just noticed that this bike had 94 decals but has the same forks as the 05 Diet Sport... so I guess its a late 94 early 95  :)

Me n Jol the Crow

Were in gorgeous Iris's cafe the other day.

We were discussing your new bike and both agreed that it is very usuable and looks killer too.

Then Iris sang to me whilst giving Jol the Glad-eye.

Keep the Faith. L
