It is a nice looking frame and your right that with the right parts it could be a nice bike.

Like the other said i think it is a generic frame - copied from other frames and made for the mass market but cheaper - but they are a good frame and can be worked well

have a look on here at what sort of parts suits it  ;)

mags or spokes ? colour choice ?

Thats cool may have to look for parts then and see what i can build. As far as mags or spokes then ive got white mags and gold and chrome weinmans? thought maybe gold and chrome?
Anyway thanks for the help so far guys and it looks like i may be useing your skills again as i have a workshop full of frames and stuff :)

I'm wondering whether this is a copy, all the townsends, universals and magna's that look like this are all Hi Ten frames, this one is cro mo, making it instantly 200% better [unless its just a sticker!!] Perhaps this is something else a bit more mid range, like a Ruption etc

Good point is it just a sticker? Do these cro mo stickers come in 1 design because ive seen the exact sticker in
the same place on a aero reflex on the bay?

well the weight of the frame and the welds would tell you, get some close ups when it arrives

Ive weighed the frame guys after fully stripping it down and it comes in at just under 3kg.....6.5lb
and decided that im going with cro mo parts to match the frame. will pinch parts of my other bikes and build it up for pics if i can get photo bucketto work :)

I've got the same frame. Was told it was a Townsend but the rear dropouts and bend in tube don't match

This is how I set mine up but it's now on ebay. Only built as practice for a Street Beat resto
