I think they came out in 81 not sure of the month though in Red, Blue and Gold. Then in the following years Silver followed by all some other colours, black white and even orange.
Could be wrong though.  :crazy2:

Date Letters on these?

for the observant you will notice the pedals are shimo SX on DX
Hi - sorry, but what does that mean?  Are they imposters?

for the observant you will notice the pedals are shimano SX not DX and I dont ever recall them being available in white :daumenhoch:

these ARE DXs not SX

DXs originaly came in blue, red, gold and black, silver was added a little while later and i think white a while after that  :daumenhoch:

If you look at the photos clearly these could have been painted as the dx end cap as defo been off at some point as it is on upside down (see the last photo)  :daumenhoch:

Hey, great brochure pic, Mr 58delray..  I never knew how to spot the difference between DX/SX and now it is obvious.  Probably the easiest spot is the DX having less nipples around the outer edge.. Makes you wonder why they are more desirable..??

Dx are and were more desirable because the  SX had a smaller platform  and felt inferior to DX  under the foot , basically a cheaper downgrade  :-\

The sx are easy too spot with the size and chevron /arrow design on the face  :)
