..modify my front MX901 caliper for A POTTS MOD if i send it to them?i dont have patience for stuff like this as well as knowledge!can anyone help?? :idiot2:

901's don't usually mod well as the brake arm design is usually too high to fit under most downtubes  :daumenhoch:

probably ok on a performer but if its a straight downtube like my dp not a prayer as it will snap the cal in half  ;D

Terry , don't ruin the caliper ,, just buy /trade for a DC  880 , the best solution


just get a front or even a rear 880 and swap your front spindle over :daumenhoch:

Thanks man,my thoughts exactly!had an ad in trades for a while with no response.good idea about the rear 880 i wouldnt have thought of that,might make life easier!nice one! :daumenhoch:

i've read loads of times people getting rid of the quick release on brakes and there's no need, all i did bitd was stick an adjuster where the pinch bolt was and remove the weinmann adjuster and stick a pinch bolt in.
