me to mate do a nice build for £300 then. glad to be out of it all now mate people like skyway are killing the scene now (imo).
still got the vincent and a TA gonna do a 84 master then thats me retired. not built owt for nearly 2 years

I remember years ago, must have been 05 when I brought a Green Streetbeat off you Paul & you packed it with loads of free Skyway stuff, Tuff Pads, Frame pad sets, Stickers, they were the days 8)

i remember i used to use the TA decal sets as sellotape for the parcels and used ta padsets as packaging for expensive items.lol

Some great builds you had there, wicked colours too but my favourite has to be the white Trickstar. I never knew Skyway made tyres either :shocked:

When I first got into collecting, haro tyres were 25 from vert-ego, haro 85 ish bars were 30-40 nos as with gt freestyle bars. And 901 sets were 40! My dad has about 5 nos sets in the cupboard, 1 nos set of green haro tyres too

I think they are just branded Panaracers, but very rare.

yeh as chris said made by panracer. they made white,baby blue (ultra rare) and black. i sold the blue ones gotta be 3/4 years ago for £100

Looking at these bikes just reminds me what was available a few years back, I remember looking at Vert-ego and Alans around 03-04 and thinking I'm not paying that much for a load of old cack. :'(

Yeah, the profiteers took all the fun out of it IMO. It was great being able to build a NOS frameset up with (genuinely) NOS parts which were readily available and weren't being shilled to feck on eBay. :'(

Haha! :LolLolLolLol: wish it was still like that now, where it wasn't an investment to buy a pair of pedals or something, and you could build a nos bike for real cheap. Especially that streetbeat!!

I remember when i first spoke to you through ebay and you had all those skyway pads, and when you were doing buy 1 set get 2 sets free, for about £12 delivered :shocked: Imagine how much quids worth you would have had now??

Tell me about it mate at one point i was doing 2 sets of ta padsets inc straight bar pad and a set of green tuffpads for £4.99

remember fetching my green streetbeat from you about 2004 and having a mooch in your shed
you threw me loads of stickers and green and grey tuff pads in too
