Are the DP freestylers another bike, you can't tell the year of manufacture from the serial ?

Are they even  in ascending though ?

You can't date the frame off the frame number. All we can do is keep a record of how many are out there. Be interesting to see if someone finds their old frame number in the list. Would also be cool to see some numbers back to back, got close today with 1202 and 1205
